Probiotic Kaua‘i-style Sauerkraut to Boost Your Immune System

Sauerkraut, or some variation of it, has been used widely by many cultures throughout Europe and Asia for its health benefits and long shelf-life. Traditionally made live sauerkraut is an amazing super food that is easy to make at home. Raw Macnut Cheese Recipe

Michael Shulkin shares the fast version of this recipe.

Macnuts soaked & rinsed.
Water
Mellow white miso
dash of salt
dash of white pepper
juice from 1 lemon
sprig of parsley
dash of nutmeg (secret ingredient)
Blend in Vitamix or food processor until creamy


Candy Milk Shake

Super yummy raw milk shake I came across, just something new for you to try in your blender.

4 cacao Beans (peeled – you can add more if you want it even more chocolately)
1 Tsp agave nectar
2 dates (I use Halawi)
1 1/2 frozen bananas
Pure water (I use about 1 c.)
Ice to desired texture (I use about 2 c.)
2 Tbl almonds (optional)

Blend all ingredients, except ice, in blender til nice and creamy. Then add ice to desired texture (I used 1 c. full)

Makes one glass full. YUM!!!!

I caught a glimpse of a segment on Good Morning America about gluten intolerance. 1 out of 7 people have some form of intolerance even as severe as Celiac disease, most not even knowing it. The segment featured Elizabeth Hasselbeck, author of The GFree Diet. She talks about symptoms such as stomach pain, and fatigue, to migraine’s and the inability to conceive. Gluten is found most commonly in products using wheat, barley, and rye. It can also be hidden in marinates, gravies, and soy sauce.
